I enjoyed watching this 4 hour video much more than anything Star Wars related that Disney ever produced.

This seems absolutely miserable.

Encore was enjoyable for at least 2 of the episodes. Agree that the Star Wars episodes should be tighter movies. Some of the scripts need a 2nd look and better integration with things that come before/after what it is they are currently working on.

This detailed girl is super cute. Have a feeling you didn't know this was going to have a 4 hour run time, but you did it justice!

This video aged kinda poorly. Sorry Jenny, Disney did a bad job with this franchise, and there are so many great reasons to hate this movie.

Wow. I am SO GLAD I watched this video. Having been to Disney well over twenty times and had seasons passes for a couple of years - which is impressive for a Canadian who is not particularly wealthy! - I don't feel like I missed something that I THOUGHT would be one of the best experiences of my life. Disney - like almost all of America - has been consumed by GREED. This was clearly designed to remove the most money from the Star Wars fan community as possible - with no thought to the happiest place on earth, a 'magical" experience or anything else from the Disney vision. I will never be going back to Disney again (that has to do with Florida, DeSantis, open carry and Florida's new attitude towards tourists, I know not to go where I'm NOT wanted) and far less to do with how expensive WDW now is. Disneyland is a possibility (twice so far) but far less of a "draw" than WDW.

Aside from Jenny’s extremely well-researched and thought out critique one of the biggest failures of the Galactic Cruiser was that they picked the absolute worst storyline in the sequels to base it around. Should have done classic OT to get the widest reach. Also, a missed opportunity to recreate the cantina scene with a gaggle of aliens roaming around amongst the patrons. Honestly, cosplayers have more authenticity that what I’ve seen from the official Disney actors in this thing. Thank you for this awesome critique. It was absolutely enlightening and entertaining. And I think you hit it on the nose: Disney’s hubris is going to be their downfall… they are taking their biggest fans for granted (and by purchasing Marvel and Star Wars IP they are going to take those fans down with them.)

Ok I hadn’t seen the stage show, but it sounds dreadful, and I’m guessing it was so highly praised only because today’s critics and reviewers are an incompetant bunch, barely hanging on to jobs or working ad hoc, and audiences which have lost all critical faculties and with no reference points to when modern era theater was much, much, much, much better (post war era through the early to maybe the mid-1980’s at latest). What junk.

Well after watching this I know I fell right into the hands of the marketing department. Bought several of these for my daughter because I love star wars and I want to give them to her when she is old enough 😅 Really enjoyed this video, thanks Jenny!

Would be totally down to do this for the Star Trek universe... Edit: the interactive stuff in the park feels like an infinitely worse version of the Pirates of the Caribbean treasure hunt, WHICH IS FREE.
